Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Luna Bay! Weโ€™re happy to have you here. Our little bay is all about slowing down, feeling at home and enjoying the easy side of island life. Just a few little things to know before you settle in.

1. Your Booking & Payment

All room rates include applicable taxes and fees. Our rooms are made for a maximum of two guests, including children. Guests under 18 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Payment and cancellation conditions depend on the rate youโ€™ve booked. For flexible bookings, full payment is due once the free cancellation period ends. Non-refundable bookings are payable at the time of booking.

If plans change, cancellations, no-shows and early departures are handled according to your booking conditions.

We ask for a refundable security deposit of THB 1,000 per room, payable in cash when you arrive. Youโ€™ll get it back at check-out, less any justified deductions for damage or missing items.

2. Arriving & Leaving

Your room will be ready from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Arriving after 10:00 PM? No worries, just give us a heads-up so we can arrange your late arrival.

Please have your valid passport ready at check-in.

3. A Few Things Around the Resort

Smoking is not permitted inside guest rooms.

Thinking of inviting someone to your room? Just check with reception first.

While we canโ€™t accommodate personal pets in our guest rooms, we do have two friendly resort dogs who are very much part of Luna Bay life. We hope youโ€™ll treat them with the same kindness they share with our guests!

Bringing your scooter down for check-in or luggage? Absolutely fine! At other times, please leave it in our designated parking area at the top of the resort. That way, our little bay stays peaceful and safe.

4. Housekeeping & Little Essentials

Housekeeping is included from the third day of your stay, upon request.

Youโ€™ll find bath towels, beach towels and an initial supply of toilet paper in your room. Need a little extra? Just pop by reception.

Our beach towels love staying at Luna Bay! Please keep them within the resort and drop them off at reception when you check out. Bathroom towels prefer staying in your room.

One little island essential: Our plumbing isnโ€™t a fan of toilet paper, wipes or anything else being flushed. Please use the bins provided. If a blockage is caused by improper use, reasonable repair costs may be charged.

5. A Little Love for Our Island

We love this little corner of Koh Phangan and hope you will too. Help us look after it by saving water, switching off the air conditioning and lights when youโ€™re out, and keeping our beach and gardens free from litter.

The sea has its own rhythm here. Tides and seasons naturally change the shoreline and water levels throughout the year, so our beach may look a little different depending on when you visit.

6. When Things Donโ€™t Go Quite to Plan

Accidents happen, and thatโ€™s part of life. If something gets damaged beyond normal wear and tear, a key goes missing or extra cleaning is needed, we may have to charge the reasonable actual costs.

Please take care of your personal belongings and valuables during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own activities, including scooter rides and island adventures. If anything goes wrong, just let our team know.

We want everyone to have a lovely time at Luna Bay. In the unlikely event of serious misconduct, harassment or aggressive behaviour, we reserve the right to end a stay where permitted by law. But we sincerely hope weโ€™ll never have to!

7. Island Life Has Its Little Surprises

Occasional power fluctuations or outages can happen on Koh Phangan, especially around busy Full Moon periods. Some things are simply beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.

If anything isnโ€™t quite right, please come and chat with our team at reception. Weโ€™re always happy to help!

8. The Small Print

Luna Bay Beach Resort is operated by Moonlight Escape Company Limited, Thailand.

These terms apply alongside your booked rate conditions and are subject to applicable Thai law.
